As part of the Finance Division team, you are responsible for managing various corporate initiatives and communicating effectively within Finance and across the organization. You manage BC Ferries’ head office facilities requirements (including strategic facilities planning, facilities projects and space planning); the corporate business travel program; various corporate and Finance initiatives and such other duties as may be required from time to time.
You review contract proposals; obtains approvals and co-ordinate implementation of tenant improvement projects, from inception to completion; provide expertise in lease management; liaise effectively with executive management, staff, vendors and others; and develop and promote corporate initiatives that lead to continuous improvement of existing business programs and processes, compliance with laws and legislation and organisational value-add.
Qualifications and Skills
You have a degree or diploma in a business related field with advanced written and communication skills. You bring in a minimum of 5 to 7 years of managerial experience and a customer service focus. Project and facilities management experience is preferred. You also have working knowledge of building code and WorkSafe statutory requirement, digital media management and audio-visual technology.
