Position Overview:

Reporting to the Sales Team Lead, the Sales Representative will create and pursue new business opportunities as well as foster and grow existing relationships. The account base will be a combination of retail stores and on-premise establishments (bars, restaurants, pubs, etc) within Greater Victoria and some surrounding areas.

The successful candidate must be an outgoing, friendly, and savvy sales professional with a passion and drive to produce top-level results.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a territory-specific sales plan within the Greater Victoria area
  • Pre-plan and execute sales calls to new and existing clients
  • Successfully gain new retail and on-premise listings with a focus on growth
  • Deliver superior customer service by being highly responsive, providing promotional support, and offering more value than the competition
  • Meet the annual targets for the assigned territory in terms of revenue, expenses, and distribution of product
  • Produce weekly summaries of sales calls, wins, and losses within the assigned territory
  • Work with customers to create and implement promotional plans
  • Support, participate and collaborate with other members of the Sales Team
  • Participate in festivals, in-store tastings, and any events within the assigned territory
  • Keep abreast of competitive trends
  • Represent Lighthouse Brewing Company in a professional manner at all times
  • Perform other duties as requested and required

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of progressive sales experience in the beer/wine/spirits industry (craft beer preferred)
  • Legally able to sell alcoholic beverages
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Valid Serving It Right Certification
