Acera is looking for an ambitious, engaging, and experienced Client Advisor to join our Commercial Client Care team. As our Client Advisor, you will have the overall responsibility for maintaining and growing a book of small business of accounts ranging from $500 - $5,000 in premium. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Manage a book of business mainly focused on non-profits, consultants and technology
  • Proactively grow the technology book of business;
  • Form relationships within the technology industry;
  • Manage the renewal process;
  • Participate in the claims process;
  • Assist in collecting accounts receivables;
  • Participate in up-sell and cross-sell initiatives to grow business;
  • Works effectively and efficiently in our Broker Management System.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service standards using our core values as the foundation of  
  • your service – Commit to Excellence, Take Ownership, Put People First, Make Work Fun; 
  • Attend industry networking events, such as VIATEC events;
  • All other duties as directed by management.

LOCATION AND STATUS:

Victoria, BC 

Permanent, full-time employment (35 hrs/week)

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm, In-Office

Salary Range $50,000 - $70,000

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CAIB, CIP designation or on an education plan;
  • Minimum Level 2 license required;
  • Minimum 2 years of Commercial Insurance experience required;
