Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for a Business Development Partner Coordinator to join our Strategic Alliances department.

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Alliances this role will contribute to the success of supporting Esri Canada’s initiative to implement, develop, and maintain strategies for business growth with potential and existing business partners ranging from start-ups to large organizations. This position will work collaboratively with sales, professional services, and marketing to build and nurture a stronger community within the Member Tier of the Esri Partner Network. Responsibilities will include recruiting, evaluating and engaging new prospects to help them align with Esri technology and business models and work to accelerate them into the Gold, managed tier of partners.

This role will be based in remotely in Canada.

A Day in the Life of a Business Development Partner Coordinator at Esri Canada:

  • Manage and orchestrate a partner engagement plan through one to one and one to many activities (ie. events, online webinars, social media, newsletters, etc.) alongside Esri subject matter experts.
  • Drive awareness of Esri Selling Programs within the Member Partner tier and sharing best practice and business models.
  • Evaluate potential partners to determine how they will drive Esri and Esri customer success.
  • On-board new partners to ensure they are familiar with Esri partner resources and suggested activities.
  • Assess partner solutions, content and service offerings and provide guidance on business development.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Esri Partner Network program, policies, and processes.
  • Regularly update and track partner metrics within the corporate CRM system, Salesforce.com.
  • Assist in connecting partners with Esri Canada sales where joint efforts will result in mutual benefit.
  • Plan and engage in partner business planning sessions, partner assessments, partner reviews, sales meetings, trade shows and follow-up meetings.

What you bring to the team:

  • University Degree or College Diploma or comparable work experience
  • A strong desire to work with Esri business partners.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of Esri products and services, with the ability to describe them in relation to business partner offerings.
  • Strong organizational skills and the motivation to plan, host and action business development meetings.
  • Sound understanding of solving business problems using GIS and geospatial technology.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Bonus points for this position:

  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a Business Partner / Channel environment an asset.
  • Prior consulting services, sales support, account management or partner management experience.
  • Experience in business planning, strategic planning, service delivery, or project management.
  • Bilingual (English/French)
