Visitor Experience Associate (Seasonal)
 
Victoria Butterfly Gardens is currently seeking a seasonal, part-time Visitor Experience Associate to join our team! This role plays a key part in delivering a memorable and magical experience to guests of all ages as they explore our indoor tropical environment, home to free-flying butterflies, flamingos, tropical birds, exotic plants, and fruit trees.
Working primarily in the gift shop and admissions areas, Visitor Experience Associates assist with guest services, sales transactions, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. We’re looking for someone who brings energy, positivity, and a team-focused mindset to every shift.

Position Details:
  • Seasonal part-time opportunity from May 16th until September 15, 2025
  • Must have flexible availability Thursday - Sunday
  • Approximately 15-20 hours per week
Compensation:
  • Starting at $21.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding guest service by greeting and engaging visitors in a warm, professional manner.
  • Operate the admissions and retail point-of-sale systems, including cash handling.
  • Stay knowledgeable about gift shop products and assist guests in making informed purchases.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the admissions area and retail displays.
  • Collaborate with team members to support a positive and productive work environment.
  • Uphold the values and brand of Victoria Butterfly Gardens at all times.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience in customer service, guest services, or cash handling.
  • Friendly, confident, and enthusiastic demeanor with strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation to and from our facility.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • A strong work ethic and a passion for creating exceptional visitor experiences.
