The Learning and Employment Team is committed to helping individuals find purpose and fulfillment through a variety of programs, including ArtWorks, Employment Services, Personalized Support Initiative (PSI), OPTIONS, and Lifestreams Learning, all designed to support learning, social development, and personalized assistance for maximizing independence and inclusion.
About the Program - OPTIONS
OPTIONS Independent Learning, in partnership with Garth Homer’s LifeStreams Learning and Employment Services, supports individuals in pursuing employment and lifelong learning. Programs are tailored to each participant and follow a flexible four-month semester system, allowing for ongoing skill development and exploration of new interests. Learning includes both community-based activities and in-house supports like therapy, tutoring, and personal projects. We also promote volunteering to build independence and foster personal growth.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to support adults with developmental disabilities in a community-based setting. This role includes facilitating life skills activities, supporting goal-setting and volunteer placements, and building strong, positive relationships with clients. The ideal candidate has experience in non-aversive behavior support, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of inclusive employment practices.
