The Role:
We’re looking for a friendly, positive, and motivated Account Manager to join our dynamic sales and marketing team. In this role, you’ll be primarily responsible for selling marketing services and sponsorship opportunities across our platforms—including print, digital, and our signature events.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative, collaborative environment, and who is excited about helping local businesses grow their brand through thoughtful marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell print and digital advertising as well as event sponsorships for YAMDouglas, and SPRUCE magazines
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with excellent customer service
  • Meet with clients and prospects (in person, by phone, and via video) to understand their goals and present customized marketing solutions
  • Collaborate with the internal team to develop and execute advertising campaigns
  • Collaborate with the internal team to develop updates to in-house marketing materials, sell sheets, etc.
  • Maintain accurate client records and pipeline activity using a CRM database
  • Attend networking events and community functions to promote Page One Publishing and grow your network
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals

What You Bring:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Friendly, team-oriented, and self-motivated personality
  • An interest in marketing, sales, and supporting local business
  • Experience working with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
  • Familiarity with use of databases, particularly CRM databases
  • Ability to attend in-person meetings and events

Nice to have, but not specifically required:

  • Knowledge of the local business community
  • Background in marketing or communications
  • Previous experience in media or advertising sales

Education:

  • College diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation: Competitive base with commission structure; flexible hours available for part-time candidates. Bonuses.
