Skilled Labour | Decorative Light Installer - Contract

FestiLight Decor Inc. is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Decorative Light Installer to join our team for this peak installation season for our new North Vancouver location. In this role, you will assist our experienced installation team in setting up and installing various lighting displays for our clients, ensuring high-quality execution and exceptional customer service. Expected Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Expected End Date: December 13, 2025: with extension for removal season

Responsibilities:

• Installation Assistance: Assist in the installation of decorative lighting displays according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Equipment Handling: Handle and organize lighting equipment and materials efficiently.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of installations.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform light maintenance and troubleshooting tasks as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during installations.
• Work Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Sales Support: Assist in promoting additional services and upselling to clients where appropriate.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and comfortable working at heights.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Physical fitness and enjoy working outside.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Committed to providing great customer service.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Experience operating boom lifts and bucket trucks is an asset but not required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Must have valid Canadian driver’s license.
• Having a car for reliable transportation preferred.
