Role Introduction:
As our next Technology Lifecycle & Procurement Coordinator, you’ll be the friendly expert who helps clients choose, plan, and receive their IT hardware and licensing… always with great service, value, and timing!
We’re not just looking for someone who knows their way around hardware specs (though that’s definitely a plus), we’re looking for a hardware enthusiast with people skills. You’re curious about technology, eager to keep learning, and genuinely enjoy helping others make the right choice. You’re also detail-oriented, highly organized, and confident managing multiple priorities without breaking a sweat.
If you’re ready to blend your tech interest with your knack for client service and you like the idea of joining a POD that works hard, has fun, and makes waves in the business world, then we’d love to meet you!
In this role you will be working closely with VCIOs, project techs, and client success, and will support everything from workstation replacements and licensing renewals to project-related infrastructure procurement such as servers, firewalls, and networking gear. Complex project scoping remains with technical leads, but this role translates scoped requirements into specific product selections, quotes, and orders.
The role is highly client-facing. Sometimes this means clarifying specifications for a one-off purchase, and other times it means coordinating with a VCIO or client to discuss a planned batch of lifecycle replacements. In all cases, this person ensures solutions are aligned with both client needs and Smart Dolphins’ standards, integrating directly into the client lifecycle management process to proactively plan, quote, and fulfill hardware and licensing needs.
