In-Office Hours: Victoria Royals Home Games - 2025-26 Season

The Victoria Royals are seeking a creative and energetic Broadcast Reporter for the 2025–26 season. This role offers the opportunity to be the on-camera face of Royals coverage, creating engaging content for broadcasts, social media, and in-arena presentation. The successful candidate will conduct interviews, report on team news, and help tell the stories that connect fans with the Royals both on and off the ice.

Responsibilities Include:
• Serve as an on-air host for team interviews, features, and special segments.
• Conduct pre-game, intermission, and post-game interviews with players, coaches, and special guests.
• Produce engaging on-camera content for social media, web, and in-arena use.
• Assist the communications team in developing story ideas and coverage plans.
• Maintain a professional, positive presence at all events and appearances.

Qualifications
• Strong verbal communication skills and confident on-camera presence.
• Ability to think quickly and ask thoughUul, relevant questions in interviews.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, live-event settings.
• Previous media, journalism, or broadcasting experience is an asset.
• Available evenings, weekends, and game nights during the WHL season.
