Reporting to the Director, the position of Academic Administrative Officer (AAO) is responsible for administrative duties, coordinating, and supporting delivery of graduate programs and is the only professional staff (PEA) in IGOV.
The incumbent is required to have broad knowledge and skills related to academic program management, local Indigenous protocols and ways of knowing, financial monitoring and reporting, human resource management, and supporting graduate student learning.
Objectives:
This position may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends to assist with IGOV events.
This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a university degree plus three (3) years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
