The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for technology and a commitment to providing exceptional support for the role of Entry-Level Technical Support Analyst.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical assistance to internal users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and promoting efficient IT operations across the organization. This role includes standard desktop support in a Microsoft/Office 365 environment, as well as managing operational technology networks and systems, including video monitoring and access control infrastructure across the Jawl Properties building portfolio.

The selected candidate will work closely with senior IT staff, our managed service provider (MSP), vendors, and members of the Jawl Operations team to facilitate daily activities and ensure the functionality, security, and reliability of critical systems.

This is a full-time on-site position located at our downtown Victoria office, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to end users, both in-person and remotely
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding procedures, including workstation setup and user account configuration
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with procurement and deployment of equipment
  • Document issues and resolutions in the service desk system
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when appropriate
  • Support basic network and system administration tasks
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all user interactions
  • Provide support for operational technology systems, including video monitoring and access control systems

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience in a desktop support, help desk, or similar IT role
  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least one relevant industry standard entry-level certification required (CompTIA A+, M365 Fundamentals, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 operating systems and the Microsoft 365 suite
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and IT security best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (may be required for off-site support)
  • Ability to lift 20 to 30 lbs.
