Overview
Under the direction of the Director of Finance, this position ensures the effective selection, implementation, and integration of software systems throughout the organization. This includes leading financial system evaluation, coordinating training, and serving as the project liaison between IT service providers and end users across departments. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Systems Coordinator ensures that all technology solutions align with user needs, support departmental objectives, and contribute to the organization’s overall strategic goals. Please note that this is a temporary position for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of an extension.

Responsibilities

  • Supports managers, coordinators and staff with the use of new systems
  • Supports staff in day-to-day use of computer software programs by performing duties such as demonstrating and explaining program functions and providing suggestions on work method.
  • Ensures that systems with multiple department users are aligned in their use of the system.
  • Ensures supplies of up-to-date handouts and resource materials are available.
  • Provides, or arranges, pertinent training for staff on all new systems, or any systems that have been identified as needing further training.
  • Extra focus on integration of systems with the SAGE accounting software, ensuring systems are being used to their full potential.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of AI solutions for organizational use and supports their integration into staff workflows.

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience conducting training or experience implementing adult education
  • Three years recent related project management, IT or systems administration / management experience

  • Has the ability to function effectively within the Constitution and Bylaws of The Cridge Centre for the Family.
  • Is proficient with M365, with emphasis on SharePoint and Teams features.
  • Has strong interpersonal skills; able to deal with others in a sensitive manner, with tact, diplomacy and professionalism at all times.
  • Maintains attention to detail in all areas of work. • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Can multi-task and adapt to conditions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thrives on finding ways to improve processes.
  • Is a cheerful, positive, and optimistic team player.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $30.75 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
