Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Account Executive - Local Sales, based in the Nanaimo or Northern Vancouver Island. The Account Executive will utilize transit advertising inventory on Vancouver Island to exceed sales goals. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and managing advertising campaigns. Daily tasks include meeting with clients, creating proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the successful execution of transit advertising campaigns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Experience in sales, account management, or business development within media
• Ability to understand and meet client needs, providing excellent customer service
• Project management skills, including managing timelines and coordinating resources
• Ability to analyze market trends and data to identify opportunities
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
• Knowledge of the advertising or outdoor media sales is a significant asset
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
