We have an exciting opportunity for you at Heart Pharmacy Shelbourne adn UVic Campus! We seek a dedicated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant with at least two years of experience to join our team and support our pharmacists in providing exceptional care to our valued customers.

About the Role:

• Location: UVic and Shelbourne
• Availability: Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 5:00pm.
• Position Type: Full-time

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will support our pharmacists with day-to-day pharmacy activities. Your work, from dispensing prescriptions to providing outstanding customer service, will directly contribute to the high-quality care we provide to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with prescription drop-offs and pickups.
• Accurately input prescription information into the system.
• Create and maintain client profiles for comprehensive care.
• Support pharmacists in dispensing and labelling prescriptions.
• Assist in inventory management and supply ordering.
• Maintain client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Operate the cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in a pharmacy assistant role.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday.
• Experience with Kroll or other pharmacy systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ethical and professional standards.
