Skilled Labour | Driver/Swamper - PT

Reporting to the Manager of Social Enterprise for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria Capital Region, the driver/swamper will help conduct product collections and deliveries. The ideal candidate will have an excellent driving record, comply with safety standards, have good customer service skills in person and on the phone, be able to problem solve and work with a team or independently.

The primary responsibilities of this position involve:

• driving an agency provided vehicle
• loading and unloading donations
• sorting donations
• coordinating pick up and drop off times and days
• maintaining simple accounting entries
• and other tasks as required.

The candidate needs to be physically able to drive and be seated for lengths up to 2 hours, lift bags and boxes repeatedly of up to 30kgs and adhere to safety precautions at all times.
