About YOU 

We are seeking a creative, empathetic and collaborative individual to join us in the role of Interior Designer. The successful candidate will work as part of a focused team to be responsible for interior design focused projects including conceptual, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.   

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of commercial interior design, industry standards, and building codes.
• Demonstrates excellent design and communication skills.
• Understands technical aspects of material selections such as assemblies and implications of their use including infection control and harm prevention.
• Knowledge of interior detailing, construction documents and industry standards.
• Experience in commercial office planning would be preferred.
• Experience with universal design strategies, including accessibility & inclusivity.
• Experience with move management would be an asset.
• Excellent organizational, and time management skills.
• Experience coordinating with consultants is preferred.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks is preferred, proficiency in AutoCAD is acceptable alternative.

Qualifications:

• Interior Design degree at a CIDA accredited institution, or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience

• Salary range: $50,000 – $60,000 based on experience & skills
