Kinetic Construction Ltd. has an opportunity within our Victoria branch for a Junior Project Accountant to assist the accounting and finance needs at a project level with a small project portfolio. The primary focus of this position includes the financial setup of projects, maintaining timely, accurate and consistent project cost information in the accounting system and Procore project management software and project billing.

The wage range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually and is based on relevant skills and experience.

Position Specifications

• Accounting certificate or degree, strongly desired
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, experience in the construction industry an asset
• Prior experience with SAGE – Timberline is considered an asset
• Prior experience with Procore is considered an asset
• Strong communicator and relationship builder
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills are required
• Detail-oriented, process driven, and efficiency-seeker skills are all highly beneficial
