Days/Hours of Work: Monday to Friday: 37.5 hours per week

About the Role
Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, the Employee Experience Specialist is responsible for designing and supporting processes, practices and programs that strengthen employee engagement, facilitate effectiveness, and drive organizational culture. The role focuses on improving the day-to-day and long-term experience of employees through effective onboarding, training, internal communications, feedback programs, and various HR initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, interviews, and offers
- Coordinate and improve onboarding and orientation to ensure a welcoming experience for new employees
- Work with managers to streamline onboarding and support early job success
- Maintain accurate employee records and assist with benefits, leaves, and accommodations
- Assist with internal communications, including newsletters and intranet updates
- Support employee engagement initiatives such as recognition, wellness, and team-building activities
- Gather and analyze employee feedback to support continuous improvement
- Support managers and employees with workplace concerns, performance management, and policy guidance
- Support learning and development initiatives and internal training programs
- Promote inclusive practices and support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Support smooth offboarding processes and conduct exit interviews
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
- Experience in HR, employee engagement, or a related role
- Working towards CPHR designation
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency with MS 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
