Locally owned and operated, our Hillside, Downtown, Langford and Duncan stores have proudly served Vancouver Island and the lower mainland since 2015. Our mission is to empower our customers by helping them be informed; utilizing innovative technology, honest advice, and a shared love for cannabis, we continue our role as a leader in the industry.
We are currently looking for a new addition to our team, in the role of Assistant Manager FOH (Front of House) to join our Hillside store’s team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Drives the store sales through personal sales and team leadership
· Creates the best-in-class retail experience for both customers and employees.
· The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and has as direct reports the Supervisor, Keyholder and Budtender positions.
· Supports the Store Manager in all aspects of the business , ensuring the Point of sale (POS), cash handling, and database system are used efficiently and accurately.
· Develops and maintains an ongoing learning and coaching culture and through the educational programs offered as well as internal product knowledge information channels.
· Inspire a culture of customer service, leads by example, builds and maintains great relationships with clients and employees.
· In partnership with the Store Manager, drives performance through personal example, training, monitoring, planning, coaching, and team performance management
· Supports training and development of Budtenders; using SOP (standard operating procedures) and FARM training tools.
· Assists in the continuous development of policies and procedures to improve efficiencies.
· Ensures that store standards meet company expectations and the government regulations are always being followed by all employees
· Understands and communicates the company brand, mission and core values to the team and customers, leading by example
· Ensures an exceptional customer experience pre, during and post transaction
· Implement all policies & procedures, while maintaining the Health & Safety standards.
· Communicate in a timely manner with Head Office departments as per the needs of the business.
· Other duties as required
Requirements:
· 1+ year CPG (consumer packaged goods) retail management.
· Proven experience in leading a successful customer focused team
· Strong work ethics, ability to motivate and inspire
· Excellent conflict resolution, time management and highly developed communication skills.
· Proven ability to work with retail operating systems, well versed in MS Suite programs.
· Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Cannabis knowledge and passion.
· Proven leadership and decision-making abilities
· Selling it Right Certificate required.
