Management | Retail Jewellery Store Manager - FT

You can find Artina's Jewellery in Victoria on Government Street, Vancouver in Gastown, and online. We offer a large selection of unique, handcrafted jewellery made by talented Contemporary and Indigenous designers. We represent over 70 small-scale, local artists, many of whom create their unique pieces from their own studios. Our goal in showcasing their work is to celebrate the deep history and culture of Indigenous communities and help them share their art with more people. Artina's has been family-owned and operated for over 30 years.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Store Manager to oversee all aspects of our store's operations. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a passion for retail, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing a talented team, and ensuring the store runs efficiently while embodying the creative spirit of Artina's.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
• Manage staff scheduling, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Lead by example to motivate the team and embody Artina's brand values.
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Ensure every customer receives an outstanding and memorable shopping experience.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and issues with professionalism and grace.
• Manage all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and banking.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Implement and maintain stunning visual merchandising displays that are consistent with Artina's aesthetic.
• Ensure the store is always clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Manage the store's budget and control operational costs.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and team performance to senior management

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role within the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of retail sales principles, customer service practices, and visual merchandising techniques.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed business decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage customers and team members.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A passion for jewellery and luxury retail, with a keen eye for trends and an appreciation for craftsmanship.
