Role Overview

CHEK Media has an opportunity for a talented and ambitious marketing graduate to assist with prospecting for a Sales campaign project based in the Vancouver region. In this role you will demonstrate a strong passion for sales, excel at building client relationships, and consistently deliver effective solutions.

Term- This is a temporary position available to start immediately and working up to the end of March- averaging 20 hours per week. The schedule will be flexible during standard business hours primarily between 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting businesses that would be a good fit for CHEK media advertising solutions in the Vancouver and Greater Vancouver area.
• Call on local businesses by email, phone and in person to invite them to attend our Mad Ads Presentation in April.
• Build, maintain and follow up on a healthy base of leads and contacts through extensive research and leveraging new and existing networks and contacts and following through on assigned call lists.
• Present information to clients with confidence and clarity.
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to optimize the prospecting process and ensure campaign success.
• Provide weekly status updates to the Sales Manager

Qualifications

• In progress or completion of a marketing and sales diploma.
• Experience making sales calls would be an asset.
• Customer service experience
• Confident and clear communicator.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a cell phone and laptop to independently,
• Work remotely from home.
• Must be able to commute to make site calls as needed.

What we offer- This is a 8- 10-week project position, $25 per hour- 20 hours per week. Earn up to approximately $5,000 in 10 weeks.
