Skilled Labour | Warehouse Supervisor, Graveyards - FT

**This is a local warehouse position. Candidates must be located in Greater Victoria area.**

Shift is Monday - Friday starting @ 10pm

The Role

• Coaching and mentoring staff. Addressing staff with respect while establishing accountability.
• Overseeing Temp Control, 3PS, and Transport warehouse operations including loading and unloading freight, dispatching drivers
• Communication with Cassidy lead hand to ensure efficiency.
• Cascading all information to staff as it pertains to them.
• Communicating regularly with Transport Warehouse Operations Manager to plan daily workflow.
• Executing cross training for all employees utilizing both transport staff and wholesale staff as one operation to enhance efficiencies.
• Working alongside Produce Warehouse Supervisor with operations.
• Overseeing all equipment and operations are ready for business day to day.
• Training new employees on warehouse equipment.
• Overseeing scheduling in-bound appointments.
• Overseeing receiving in-bound shipments.
• Process inventory adjustments.
• Set up product locations and new products.
• Write up claims for damages and close dated products.
• Oversee health and safety; ensuring procedures are being communicated, followed and that incidents or injuries are reported in timely manner.

• Strong warehouse and product knowledge, and a competent equipment operator.
• Ability to work in cold and wet environment.
• Flexible schedule.

What you bring

• Must have two years’ experience supervisory experience.
• Must be proficient in English, spoken and written.
• Must be certified on warehouse equipment; power jacks and forklifts.
• Must be proficient on a computer
• Physical ability to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
• Strong communication skills
