We are looking for a Footwear Lead / Keyholder

As a Footwear Lead / Keyholder; you are the backbone of the store's daily operations and the guardian of our Shoe Department. You aren't just opening and closing the doors; you are driving sales through expert product knowledge, maintaining impeccable visual standards,and coaching the team to ensure every customer finds their perfect fit.

Core Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) when required. This includes opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring the store is secure and "grand opeining ready" at all times.
• Footwear Mastery: Take full ownership of the shoe department.You will ensure that floor samples are pristine, backstock is organized by size/style, and the "left-to-right" flow meets brand standards.
• Team Development: Train and shadow associates on footwear te chnology, fit techniques and suggestive selling (e.g., socks,cleaners or insoles)
• Inventory Integrity: Lead regular floor audits to find "orphaned" shoes, ensure correct pricing/tagging, and manage the replenishment of fast moving styles.
• Customer Experience: Model " customers first" intentional behaviors, stepping in to resolve complex customers issues with a calm and professional demeanor.

What you bring to the Table

• Experience: At least 2 years in a retail leadership or "lead" role. Experience in footwear and clothing is a major plus.
• The " Eye": You have a high standard for visual merchandising. You can't walk past a messy display or table without wanting to fix it.
• Communication: You communicate well with your General Manager, teammates and most importantly excel in open dialouge with customers.
• Reliabilty: You're someone the team trusts with keys and the alarm code.
• Customer Engagement Specialist: You have a keen sense to uncover the needs of our customers to provide the highest level of service.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 Ibs (shoe shipments get heavy!)
• Comfortable climbing ladders to access high-stock shelving
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and up to 2 closing shifts.

Pay: $19.25-$24.00 per hour
