Kinetic Construction Ltd. has an opportunity within our Victoria branch Receptionist & Office Coordinator to be the first point of contact for the company, and own essential administrative processes. In this role, you will maintain professional presentation and provide excellent client service experience. You will welcome and greet guests with friendly demeanor and support team members with a helpful attitude. You will support the branch through effective administration as well as assisting various departments to add value to the overall business.

  • All visitors, clients and vendors are greeted promptly and professionally, phone and email inquiries are managed efficiently, and the reception area reflects a welcoming, organized, and professional environment.
  • Administrative processes, including employee onboarding/offboarding, and internal communications, are completed accurately, on time, and in a way that supports departmental operations and overall office productivity.
  • Office supplies, equipment, and facilities are maintained and organized, vendor and service provider interactions are coordinated effectively, and shared spaces remain functional and well-stocked to support daily operations.
  • Security clearance and project-specific CISD requirements are administered accurately, with employee records maintained and compliance obligations met, enabling the organization to operate securely and meet contractual or regulatory obligations.

The wage for this position is $22.84-$31.25 an hour and is based on relevant skills and experience.

Hours are 32-40 per week and the schedule is open to negotiation

Position Specifications

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Must be Canadian Citizen due to job requirements
  • Class 5 or 7N Drivers License considered a strong asset
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Basic First Aid is an asset, but must be willing to obtain
