Peninsula Co-op is hiring a Commercial Sales Manager – Petroleum for a permanent, full-time position within our Commercial Sales – Petroleum division based in Saanichton, BC. This role supports and oversees our commercial petroleum, cardlock, and home heating operations across Vancouver Island. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Commercial Sales Manager – Petroleum is responsible for driving profitable growth across cardlock, bulk fuel delivery, wholesale petroleum, and home heating channels, and for the efficient operation of three cardlock locations, including managing the teams and facilities at these sites.
This role leads business development initiatives, strengthens customer relationships, and oversees operational performance to support long-term customer retention and margin growth.
Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies to grow the commercial petroleum, cardlock, and home heating business across Vancouver Island; building and actively managing a sales pipeline with a strong focus on new customer acquisition; maintaining and growing relationships with key commercial customers while identifying opportunities for expansion; monitoring KPIs including sales volume, margins, customer retention, and operational efficiency; and supporting budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and financial planning for the commercial division.
