As a Project Coordinator for Terminal Development, you perform a comprehensive range of planning and coordination activities in support of Terminal Development planning objectives. The primary responsibilities will include assisting in the planning and coordination of Terminal Development Plans (TDPs).
Reporting to the Manager, Terminal Development, you assist in background research, document development, consultant contract coordination, and engagement support. You support or lead feasibility and planning studies inclusive of preliminary field surveys and investigations, the identification of terminal functional requirements, options development and analysis. You also support or lead stakeholder meetings, public engagement and presentations.
You have a demonstrated understanding of planning, design and construction methods relevant to transportation infrastructure. You are an energetic team player and detail-oriented professional with a positive attitude and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build and maintain relationships with the team, department staff, consultants, and other stakeholders. You display strong time management and organizational skills, strong judgement in all aspects of your work, and can demonstrate a willingness and ability to undertake additional training and duties required for the position.
You hold a degree or diploma in engineering, planning, management, or related discipline. You have a minimum of 2 years experience working in planning, development and/or technical writing activities.
Some travel to various locations in the fleet may be required.
